Verify a download: compare its SHA-256 with the list above or with SHA256SUMS.txt (mirror). Example: sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS.txt --ignore-missing or, on Windows, certutil -hashfile Vorin-Setup-1.1.0-win-x64.exe SHA256.
Installing an unsigned app
The desktop apps are not code-signed yet, so your system will warn you the first time.
- Windows: if SmartScreen says "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway.
- macOS: open the .dmg and drag Vorin to Applications. The first time, right-click (or Control-click) Vorin and choose Open, then Open again. On macOS 15 or later, if there's no Open button, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.
- Linux AppImage:
chmod +x Vorin-*.AppImage, then run it. .deb:sudo apt install ./Vorin-1.1.0-linux-amd64.deb. - Web zip: unzip, then run
start.bat(Windows),start.command(macOS, right-click → Open) or./start.sh(Linux).
